AdMob who? Tweet what? Huh? searchwiki?
Today I realized that Miami is way behind... I have been too busy to realize it but now that I am contemplating opportunities I can appreciate the high end markets a lot more. How is it that companies in Miami don't see the potential in mobile advertising and social media marketing? What words in R.O.I. can't you make out?
SEO and Blogs are so pase, and no one in Miami seems to understand that, people like Jay Berkowitz are still preaching the "Rules" and selling small business owners an image. The world is getting smaller as we type and everyone is a media outlet filtering and passing down information. You can now buy/sell opinion in the free world.
Marketing is dead as we know it in the traditional sense, Conde Nast just revealed the worse year ever for a publisher and magazine sales are 24%. I am sure Land Rover and Jaguar decided to cut a cople of ads and photo shoots to spend 1.6 M in mobile advertising.
I'd love to be in San Francisco right about now...

Writing is an art...
Writers are a special kind of species... Art Directors are an animal kingdom/queedom.
Where does that leave the marketing minds?
The marketing minds can see beyond the writing and the branding.
Oscar commercials :
JCPenney is stepping up their style? Perfect timing, they'll buy Macys and keep Bloomies.
AmericanExpress has the budget to use A listers eh? I don't want to hear about TARP for you!
Windows... (I recall meeting one of the Marketing Directors at web 2.0 and having this conversation). You are getting closer to emotional branding, how can apple compete with a 4.5 year old who loves her PC?
And of course, we are on a quest to repair America's Image. How obvious.
